Heymann Objects Discovered at the Château de Malmaison

Cockade fan of horn with silver appliqué, two carved guardsticks, seventeen blades joined by a white silk ribbon, unique with profile of Napoleon at the top of one blade while all the others have a large star (of the legion d'honeur) at each tip, with one-draw gilt brass spyglass in the pivot, French, circa 1810 reverse of the fan detail of the spyglass in the closed position detail of the spyglass in the open position carved ivory spyglass, note the “N” and the symbols, circa 1810 note the “B” and all the symbols, diameter 4 cm. in the open position with 4 draw gilded brass tubes, 11.5 cm.
